[LJ2ME] Height

In cal i feel reasonably tall. There is however a certain percentage population which towers over me, but on an un-weighted average basis, i can see over the tops of heads, if not clearly, then with medium clarity interspersed with waving hair and undeniable effects of stupendous humidity.
In Delhi i lamentfully fell into the category of hovering around the top portion of average section-giving myself due benefit of lenient doubt. This of course was including the towering punju male population.Women were always elevated around me thanks to their heels, but then thats is undue advantage or should i say leverage.
After many years i finally see teeming masses now in bombay. As i wander through the crowds, i browse through tops of heads. The dyed mehendi red there, the thinning white plait here, the flowing black mane and the horrendous shiny clip sticking in my face. This too after the aide of many inch heels. Men are in general a tad taller. The receding pates are visible though with the aide of inch high heels. As i enter the crowded govt registration chamber i tower over the many inmates..Or woule you rather use the word temporary members? This leads me to the decisive conclusion that maharashtrians are quite short. Proved yet again.
