Media Control

Just the other day we had a heated debate about regulated internet in china, and wht do you know? After 2 days newspaper bears the heading of banning some blog sites and internet sites from the Dept of Telecom itself - a govt directive. Instant reaction - WTBF??!!!

So, this awesome article by a renowned journalist (if you can call Pritish Nandy just that) is a welcome read. My sentiments precisely. Came across it yesterday, time to let you guys also read it.

Im surprised at the media silence on this though.

Just a (serious) request

So afternoon drowsiness strikes, and of course it is better to type than to talk on phone.

hey, to all those people who do happen to read my posts, a sincere, small request. You see, its great if you comment, positive or negative. But since some (few) of you dont sign in, I dont get to know who commented, and I dont think you read my comment on your comment asking you to leave your name.
I would like to have a clue as to who you are...some indication.

M always writes "M" or "JM". Even if she misses out, her writing style is usually distinct and usually we talk, so I get to know.
P comments sometimes, and after racking my brains, I can sort of guess and confirm by asking him...
D - well, Dunno.
Akhila reads (?)- she is silent, but the few times she has commented, she left her name.
At least Sashdude, Rexzilla, Bohemebelle, Sarcar and Dirx sign in.
It really helps to know who has commented. At least for me.

So, the next time you leave a note for me in the form of comment, can you please, please please please leave your name?

If I re-read one post of mine a day, as one today, I will be occupied for one year and 10 days. Wow. And at one time I used to wonder about 50 posts!

Just for the heck of it - ektu bangla te likhi. Jodi shob posts bangla te hoto, sheo ingreji te lekha bangla te, tahole besh.... odbhut lagto.
Now thats called rambling without reason. Dont even try to figure that out.

One of my phones went into coma trying to cry out for a feeding session. Unfortunately I could not locate the extension for the standard Nokia charger to connect to my N series. What a nuisance. Meanwhile my other phone stands at one bar. I wait for it to start beeping. And now I dont even have the standard charger (or person with it) around.

Living creatures all of them, I tell you.
