no inclination to work...have i written this line before? am sleepy after a dissatisfyning lunch...was BAD. weather outside is awesome. wish i could go out on a long long drive, else stay cooped up in loud music with book.
spent 45 mins trying to call up diff frnds...in vain. either their phones are out of reach else they are busy. ended up calling dad. he was busy too. had spoken to mom yesterday...if i call her again shell think im unwell or something.
had 5 min conversations with a variety of ppl. and still dont feel like working. came back to table with cup of coffee. sick of this sweet vending machine stuff.
am excited about weekend. IMI frnd will be coming down for fri and sat. and am shifting houses on sat and sun. hopefully things will go without a hitch.
was surprised yesterday when an IMI frnd dropped in Abad without warning...was good meeting him. think ill always cherish those times in IMI...totally diffeerent experience from the rest of my life. guess all B-schools do that to u!
anyway think its high time i put on some music and returned to work. only problem...music is listened to by colleagues, and they listen to hindi only. Thank God though, 2 of them like a little 'modern' hindi music. the 3rd one gives sly comments sometimes and wants to listen to OLD (1940's) music, if not bhajans! no entertainment from me for u my frnd! so i play my own music, though restrained....God! everything in life has to be restrained! cant be myself! think thats y B-schools are good fun. better than college etc. no one there cares who u are, and yet everyone is somehow similar... not a great mood eh?
