Who says shifting is tough?

have moved. shifted closer to office, and restricted my world a lil more. need based. ironical how we reduce our worlds to suit ourselves.
Titanic excercise it bacame thanks to frnd coming over for the weekend. expecting him to be here for part of friday and saturday it was a bittersweet surprise to hear he would leave only on sunday evening. how it came about? my initial plans were to wrap up packing by saturday and shift on friday until that is i recvd the call from him, and so postponed part of packing to only sat evenining, and shifting to only sunday... friday evening im told sunday also included in his trip. cannot not be with him...its great to meet someone after more than a year. apart from him being a good frnd, and a new face after ages in this so-many-ppl-forsaken city. Welcome break for me and a welcome diversion for him (he is more used to touring the northe and sometimes bombay)
well cut a long story short. marauded with him post saturday afternoon after a morning spent in sleeping and packing (somewhat). came back at 1am and packed some more.slept at 330am got a call from brother at 630am! hes in NDA and was just back after an overnight trek. tried to sleep. got up at last. wrapped up packing. met frnds at 12noon, stayed out till 530pm. reached home at 6, arranged for tempo. smoothed matter of dues (by landlord) to society with the society chairman so as to be able to take the luggage out. got tempo loaded, reached new home by 745pm. unloaded. 830pm. went out since no gas/food arranged. came back. slept a dead mans sleep.
agenda for today - Unpack what i packed yesterday!
